Noisy Hydraulic lifters are easy to cure on 90% of vehicles.
It is usually caused by either a lack of oil pressure to the lifter or a stuck lifter.

My vast experience shows that far less than 10% of the time does the lifter actually need replacing.

It appears to be a common problem with a wide range of vehicles including Subaru, Mitsubushi, Ford, Holden, Isuzu, also most of the V6 petrol engine range of most makes, some diesels, and some of the European vehicles, basically if it has Hydraulic lifters it can cause you problems.
